Empureo bikes are designed and assembled in the West Midlands, a region with a long history of engineering and manufacturing. By developing our products locally, we maintain close control over design, assembly and quality. This allows us to focus on structural integrity, reliability and long-term durability in every product we build.
Empureo products are designed and tested to comply with recognised international safety standards, including CE and UKCA certification requirements. Certain electrical components and charging systems are also developed in accordance with recognised UL safety standards.
Safety is considered throughout the entire engineering and development process. From electrical system design to charging components and battery integration, Empureo products are engineered with durability, reliability and rider safety in mind.
Empureo batteries use high-quality lithium-ion cells sourced from globally recognised manufacturers used throughout the electric mobility industry, including brands such as LG, Samsung and Panasonic. These manufacturers are industry leaders in battery technology and produce reliable cells that are extensively tested for safety and performance.
Empureo batteries include MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) documentation which provides internationally recognised safety information regarding battery handling, transport and usage.
Empureo chargers use fire-resistant housing materials and certified electrical components designed to improve thermal resistance and reduce potential risks during charging. With increasing public concern around e-bike battery safety, Empureo chargers are designed using fire-resistant housing materials and certified electrical components to prioritise safe and reliable charging.
Empureo continues to review and test electrical systems, battery technology and charging equipment to maintain high safety and reliability standards as our products evolve.
